Working principle and classification of temperature sensor

A temperature sensor is a device capable of detecting temperature and converting it into a usable output signal, based on the differences in physical properties that different materials or components exhibit as temperatures change. These sensors use a variety of principles such as thermal expansion, thermoelectric effect, thermistor and semiconductor material properties to measure temperature. They have the characteristics of high precision, high stability and fast response, and can be applied to a variety of application scenarios. Common temperature sensors include thermocouples, thermistors, resistance temperature detectors (RTDS), and infrared sensors.
