Heating Principle
1. Non-metallic heater commonly known as glass tube heater or QSC heater. The non-metallic heater uses the glass tube as the base material, and the outer surface is coated with a layer of PTC material after sintering to become an electric thermal film, and then a metal ring is added to the two ports of the glass tube and the surface of the electric thermal film as an electrode to form a heating tube. So it’s also called a glass tube heater.
Simply put, a layer of conductive material is plated on the outer wall of the glass tube, heated by the large current on the outer wall of the glass tube, and then forced to conduct heat to the water inside the glass tube.
2. Rely on glass tubes to achieve water and electricity isolation. The glass tube heater is composed of 4 to 8 glass tubes of varying number according to different power, both ends are sealed with plastic parts and lengthened bolts. General 8000W power machine, use each 1000W or 2000W glass tube.
Advantages
There is a circuitous water flow channel formed by the glass pipe, and the flow direction is specified, so that the water temperature gradually rises at a constant speed, the water temperature is uniform, and there is no hot and cold phenomenon. The waterway is relatively long, the water movement time in the pipeline is longer, the heat exchange time is longer, and the heat exchange efficiency is higher.
Disadvantages
Glass crystal tube for a long time in the high temperature and high pressure, heat expansion and contraction of the environment, easy to break water leakage, and the glass tube heater is heated by the surface coating of the glass tube, but a leak is bound to leak electricity. The temperature is concentrated on the surface of the glass tube, so that the inner wall is easy to produce scale, scale affects the heat exchange, so after a period of time, the thermal efficiency decreases, and the possibility of tube explosion increases. In addition, the end of the water leakage is also the biggest defect of the glass tube heater, the connection between a number of glass tubes, relying on both ends of the end cap and sealing rubber ring, with bolts to fix the end cap to seal the rubber ring, this structure is fixed, too much force will directly crush the tube, too little force, poor sealing leads to water leakage.
